GALILEO stands for GeorgiA LIbrary LEarning Online, a web-based virtual library sponsored by the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia. Participating institutions have access to over one hundred and fifty databases, which index thousands of periodicals and scholarly journals. Full-text articles from thousands of periodicals are available. GALILEO's databases also include reference works, business directories, government publications, and literary resources.
