How can I use GALILEO?

Think of GALILEO as a set of search engines for magazines, journals, encyclopedias, and other authoritative information and NOT merely free Internet information.

Find articles. Over 150 GALILEO databases include full-text articles from more than 5,000 general and scholarly journals. GALILEO provides you with access to subscription-based resources paid for by participating Georgia schools and libraries.  Some databases available in Spanish.

Find citations to articles in printed journals and other publications found at your library and in libraries throughout Georgia.

Find documents and images on Georgia history. The Digital Library of Georgia is a source for digitized documents and images.

Find information in online encyclopedias, directories, etc. Click the topic tab for "News/Facts/Reference."

Find information on homework topics and recommended Web sites.
