Dear Patrons:

As some of you have already heard, our Southeast Georgia Talking Book Center will be closing effective June 23, 2014.   However, you will not be losing your talking book service.  Your books will continue to arrive as usual.  The State of Georgia is closing several talking book centers and more next year in an effort to have everything is one central location.  That location will be Atlanta with the distribution center being in Morrow.

Your service will be handled through the Atlanta offices of GLASS (Georgia Libraries for Accessible Statewide Services).  If you have a question or request you can call them at 1-800-248-6701.  Their e-mail address is glass@georgialibraries.org and their address is Glass, One Margaret Mitchell Square, 4th Floor, Atlanta, GA  30303.  If you wish to download an application for a friend or loved one you may do so at their website www.georgialibraries.org/glass.

Please be assured that you will still receive the same friendly service that you have accustomed to from our offices.  Josie and I will miss all of you terribly but will know that you are being well taken care of by the Atlanta staff.  Our hope for each of you is that you have a wonderful and blessed life and continue to enjoy listening to talking books for many years to come.
