Children from preK through 3rd grade will enjoy exploring Scholastic's BookFlix. This online resource nurtures a love of reading and develops real-world knowledge by pairing classic fictional video storybooks with nonfiction eBooks. Over a hundred nonfiction and fiction pairs are available, including 30 pairs available in either English or Spanish. Each pair shares a central theme, which can then be extended through interactive games, recommended websites and detailed lesson plans. Children can read the eBooks independently, or read along with the narrator through word-by-word highlighting.
