Children and Young Adult Services Librarian
The Children's & Youth Services Librarian (CYS), under the direction of the Regional Director, is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the Children's Department. This role involves developing, planning, and coordinating services and programs for children and young adults at the Laurens County Library. The CYS Librarian also assists other regional libraries with similar tasks when requested by the Regional Director. In addition, the CYS Librarian collaborates with the Director and other Department Heads to ensure that a Department Head is present and on duty each day. They also work with the leadership team to address patron concerns and building maintenance issues as needed.
Salary range is dependent on experience ($52,000 - $58,000).
